~Treasured always - Pisces Pond~



Cyclic

my pony-tailed fingers
idle for far too long
- encrusted
with the blood of youth’s rainbow
point enviously at the poesy
dribbling from my tongue
(where has my vision gone?)
‘It’s cyclic’ he says
waxing & waning inclinations
venter manifestations
yet to adjust involves
- a new pair of... boots
so that I may continue padding
into the tundra
...relieved of baggage
...ready to embrace concrete aire
(alone - but he doesn't know)...

"i think i had a hot flash then (too old for a period ) ok, well, you have a unique style, i have read your work before and always enjoy the different style, very much different from what i wade through in my old books and the authors i grew up reading and thinking of as all-knowing...so i consider you a new generation type of poet...

unique and fresh...

but...for me, not as easy to read, nor as soothing (translated some may think what i read is rather boring) however...this is why i like to read your work, it keeps me connected in some way to what is current, for i view you as a trend setter. that is a compliment, of course. i will continue to write in my fixed comfort zone, but it is always a delight to do this eye aerobic reading of your excellent style. you got moxie babe"
