I like to write dark poetry, but I am not a dark person. There is no reason I really write this kind of poetry. It just comes to me. Nothing in my life has really influenced me to write dark poetry. If I would have to say, the thing that influenced me most are my fears. I guess I could say I let my fears out in poetry so that they won't really effect me. When I was five I wrote dark poetry, only then it was about witches and ghosts. I also wrote happy poetry, but I liked writing dark stuff more. Scince then I have written dark poetry and got people to tell me what I think. Though my poems are full of hate and darkness, they maintain an odd balance of love and light. I know my poems could all use a little work but then again Im only eleven! I hope you enjoy my poetry! Please tell me what you think.
