I am VERY interested in the Japanese culture... mainly its animation. I am what's known as an otaku. I'm a huge fan of Joe hisashi, and also Tim Burton. So as you can guess, Halloween in Japan is my heaven.... although I am an atheist... though reading my poems you'd never be able to tell... well maybe a bit... I love philosophy, and of course literature. Edgar Allen Poe? One of the greatest writer's of all time. As well as Jack London who's novels I also enjoy. I am currently reading a book called _Just Revenge_ by Alan M. Dershowitz. I believe he is Jewish though i am not 100% sure. I say this because this book has to do with the Holocaust, and on a larger scale, REVENGE.... The sweetest of all pleasures....
I also enjoy writing my own literature, I've tried writing songs but never succeeded at writing one that i've been happy with... at least in melody. So i stick with poetry, which is a bit more profound at times, and has a bit of an easier rhythm to get. I also love music, listening to it, making it. I am a violinist... who still needs much practice... I also love singing. I'm a bit better at that than violin, but i could always use more practice. My number one hobby of all: da da da daaa!! ART!!!! In fact i wish to pursue a career in art. My goal is to attend FIT (fashion institute of technology) And someday become a fashion designer. Maybe not famous, that i don't care about, but well-known enough to make a comfortable living. I mainly specialize in detailed clothing, but the faces of those i draw the clothes on aren't very detailed. So a costume designer is my greatest goal. Alright that's all of the 'me' i give you for now, the rest of the 'me' you will be getting from my poetry^^

I'm entering my second poetry contest of the school year. I haven't thought of much yet, the deadline is April 30th. Think I'll make it? I hope so, because the winner gets a 500 dollar bond, and if i enter on line it's 1,000! I hope they at least like my poem. I'll post it as soon as i can after I write it. ^^ later
