Please pardon my arrogance. I consider myself a young philosoph, more intellectual than many. And more spiritual, though that can be supported more substantially. My dream is to follow in the footsteps of Lewis and Tolkein, and become a professor/novelist. In addition, I'd like to become a youth director, as it is in the youth that the Spirit burns brightest, and requires the most guidance.
As for my style, I especially like writing picture-poetry. It adds another challenge and sets order to free verse. I consider myself a decent haiku writer, as I actually know how it is intended to flow (I think I learned it from the opening chapter of Criptonomicon). I've moved toward free-verse recently, but am a natural at Shakespearean sonnet-style, though my iambics usually don't reach a full pentameter. Usually I'll include more than the allotted 14 lines, but it is the building block I start from.
That's all there is to me that might benefit your comprehension of my poems. Some of my favorites: "Christmas Wish"; "Music of Life"; "If I may"; set: "Shattering Dreams", "Time", "Totem", "The Conclusion". My best accepted poem has been "A Rhyme that Withstands Time" and "Eagle's Wings". Feel free to read anything you want, and please tell me what you think.

Their ideas turned to beasts -
