HotaruJRaShow poetry

I'm nothing special... Just another human being trying to absorb the experiences they've been given with the mentality they have. I write whenever I feel something so much that it hurts..that it spills over. I have never been able to write happy poetry. I'm simply not happy often enough, though that is in part my own fault.

I am not a goth as many would believe.. I simply am..with no real stereotype to fit in because I love many things. I truly hate no one, except for others who hate without giving the recipient a chance. They hate simply because they can. Without that type of person in the world it would be so much better.

Here are my thoughts and rants, which are quite often incoherent to most people. What can I say my brain is screwed up. But anyway, yeah, read my stuff if you wish, I always appreciate feedback if you can understand my rambling or rather if you take a form of understanding from them. If you wish to talk to me in person I'm always willing to do that as well, you can reach me on AIM at HotaruJRa. Also I enjoy commenting on others poems if I have the time, so if you liked my work, or even if you didn't drop me a line and I'll probably comment back on yours.

There are many great writers on this site...
>>>>Here are a few that I read religiously, whether it's because they're friends or just great poets, you'll never know.<<<<
---------------------------------------------------------------
SilverWolf13: (My best friend, and one of the best writers I know)
Buchwurm79: (another awesome best friend)
riley: (an astounding awesome writer!)
Neo Kain: (Doesn't post many pieces, but when he does they're great)
cali quaker: (another good friend poet.)
MermaidSinging: (an awesome poet overall)
PainfulTruth: (great poet that I read, but don't always comment on)
WakingDream: (same description as above)
HauntedPages: (Another astounding poet, so very descriptive)

There are many others, I just can't think of them offhand. I would recommend going through new poems and commenting, or checking out the poems that didn't reach the very top in the featured area. You can always find some treasures there.

The best color in the world? Black, with red,
Drink of choice? whatever makes me not thirsty.
Best at.. Procrastination.. --;;.

I love art and often draw them along with my original pieces..alas I don't have a working scanner. I also love reading published authors as well as those who are just starting. Another favorite past time is hanging out with my friends and playing Dance Dance Revolution, because it often makes me happy when I'm not.

And with that.. May everyone walk in beauty and live life to it's fullest because even while it can be very dark sometimes, it is still fleeting what you do have, and you should enjoy what you can of it. The light will always return, though it seems hopeless.

P.S. The background is(will be) a picture of Death from Neil Gaiman's the Sandman.. must give credit where credit is due.
________

Also,I will be off here for an undisclosed time as life has become so hectic right now that I can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe in the summer.
