My name is Wes. My poetry is very personal. Most of the time I am writing about love, or the lack there of. Lately, as some may have noticed, my mood has switched to somewhat of a depressing tone. I always believe in the inevitable and sometimes I question faith, because with so much evil and hate in the world, how could anything be absolute?
As of late I have begun to realize a variety of truths. Such as, Life = regret. By this I mean that everyone regrets something in life. Whether it be regretting something that they have done, or regret that they never had the courage to do something that they wanted to do..
I want to thank the people who believe in me... Let me thank the four girls who make me thankful of the life i live.... Ally, Katiee, Alex, and Maddi.... Without their help and support, I would not be who I am, nor would I have the confidence to write the poetry that I create.

The beach flows out against the midnight skies. -
You smooth your shirt and brush away the tears,
Check your smile in the mirror and push aside all your fears. -
On a cold, dark, and dreary night,
There was a heart once full of light. -
Your smile lifts me to heights unknown,
Let me kiss away your tears.
