Just A Few Words To Sum Up How I Feel:

(Before and After Leaving For Europe)

The day I left was the day that time stopped for me. The day to which I was to depart was the day that the my timeline in this town stopped , and switched tracks. And as I set foot upon a new land, I found that I myself was growing and changing not as I would within my home. But as I changed with this new "temporary" life, those back home kept pushing forward, with a life I used to live.

And as the day arrived unto which i was to return home, I found that my life would never again be the same. I soon found myself surronded by people that I had once called "friends". But now, to me they seemed as foregin as that distant land once did. They were now living a life I had left behind.

Time had caught up with me, it had reverted tracks, back unto which it once was. But my life was now on a time track that had come to a complete halt the day at which I left. But all those around me were living a life that had continusly kept going.

They were livign lives that I would never be able to understand, that I would never be able to live. They were filled with memories that I would never be able to remeber. Thus pushing me father from their company, exiling me from my own life.

My mind is filled with memories from my travels, but as are theirs of the life I left behind. But a question is still poised within my head. "Was it worth the trade off?" And to this day I ask myself, and I will for many more a year to follow.
