I love writing poerty because it is a talent and skill that I believe is a gift from God that I am lucky to have. With the talent and skills I have, poetry has been helping me expressed my feeling about anything such as currently I habe been fully recovered from the depresison that I had been battling with for a period of time but got fully beter but wrote some poems at times with my depression but really glad Im one hundred percent better and healthly too, writing how much I'm in love with a wonderful man that I married to last summer of 8-19-06 snd he is my everything in my life, the poems for him are very special and have such meaning for him, some poems I write are about dreams I had, real life situations going on for people such as a break up or other things, vacation times, things happen at home, things happen on the road when traveling, and thats about it. About me...I have been writing poetry for 7 years and still going strong at writing. I Just recently go married to the one and only love of my life this past weekend, Aug.19th, 2006 to my man, Dave and I love him very much from the bottom of my heart. On our wedding day, it had marked 2 years that we were engaged and it meant something to us, also my cat Vicky, turned two on our wedding day which is awesome. I would like to publish all of my poems in a book someday and being able to share my works with others and how my poems can relate to their feelings.

shatteredremains on April 6, 2006Hey, you really are a very talented writer and I loved the poem you entered in my contest, I just related with it so well and I kept rereading it because no matter how many times I read it everytime it was just as amazing as the first time. And yes, as soon as I get up so more points I'm going to have a contest and include prewrites because I know how much it sucks when you can't enter prewrites when you have the perfect poem for it.
