I'm pretty much an open book. Careful, I'm awful at sugar coating anything other than cookies, so I just spit out what I think. Whatever I write is more than likely my reaction or an an-hick-dote of an experience or a response to thoughts of "hmmm, what if". I was most definitely raised a hick. I cocoon up every now and then and emerge with new ideas of growth to flit about testing out. I'm a cancer and the moodiness is true of me, so I wouldn't exactly call myself a social butterfly. Feel free to take wing and alight on whatever blooms from my mind. If you find nectar, sip and enjoy. If the scent is not to your liking, enjoy your flight to different fields.
Oh, P.S. I'm also known as a DifferentKindofWench, so I may refer to myself as a wench now and again. I freely admit I do not see the world or words, for that matter, as black and white and realize perception has much to do with definition.
Curtsies (as she crawls down off her flowery soapbox and takes flight to indulge in winging it while yelling over her shoulder,) "Nice to meet you!"

Welcome to AP, HickUp. Great screen name. I like it immensely. Thank you for your lovely comment on my poem. If you should ever run short of wonderful poetry to read, please browse through my favorites list - they're all quite worthy of your time. I've been here for over 5 years, so I've already done considerable research on your behalf.
Here's a small gift for you, a source of constant wonderment and inspiration I've gathered, a feast of words and songs.

HickUp : Color me on November 2speechless and quite surprised -
the kind where the jaw drops
and the eyes fly open wide.
The romantic verse
causes no shock, this time;
but holy hannah, Mr. Mansy,
you intentionally rhymed!
I have never been accused of worming my way into someone's heart so prettily, nor have I enjoyed life's ride so intensely and wholeheartedly. Back at'cha, Hondo! -
west-word : LOVE’S COCOON on November 2On a springs afternoon,
You wrapped me in your love's cocoon.
From our first hello,
I knew that this day would come,
And knew you were the one,
That you would open my heart.
The silken nest of love you weaved,
The greatest gift I have received
I thank you more than words can say.
