God, grant me the serenity

to accept the things I cannot change

courage to change the things I can 

and the wisdom to know the difference

 

 

     

 

 

 

 

Our greatest moments don't come from not failing, but in rising every time we fall.

  

 

                                                                            

 

 

                                                             Tell of hearts

                                                             and souls and dances

                                                             butterflies and second chances

                                                             Desperate ones

                                                             and dreamers bound

                                                             seeking life from barren ground

                                                             We suffer on in earthly fate

                                                             the bitter pain of angry hate

                                                             would break the bonds

                                                             to breathe and live

                                                            

                                                             And find that God

                                                             in goodness brings

                                                             a chance for change

                                                             the hope of wings

                                                             To rest in him

                                                             and self to die

                                                             and so become

                                                             a butterfly

To love means loving the unlovable

To forgive means pardoning the unpardonable

Faith means believing the unbelievable 

To hope means hoping when everything seems hopeless

Hope lights a candle over cursing the darkness;
drawing its power by deeply trusting God.
 

 

 

 

Faith is seeing what is beyond sight,
believing what is beyond reason
and receiving what is beyond comprehension.

 

                     
 

 

Peace does not come when the storm ceases,
but comes when we allow God
to be the calm during the storm,
standing firm in the arms of His embrace.

 

 

 

Courage is not the absence of fear,
but is facing your fear and
walking through the unknown inspite of it.

 

 

Kindness is like the sun melting ice,
causing hardened hearts and anger to evaporate.
With love and patience as its companion
it causes difficulties to disappear
and obstacles to vanish.
