Art, according to Webster's Dictionary: 1.) Skill acquired by experience or study 2.) A branch or learning; especially; one of the humanities 3.) An occupation requiring knowledge or skill 4.) The use of skill and imagination in the production of things of beauty.
Art is indeed, this, literally; but it is also so much more. It is an expression of ourselves, the one way humans can express their own thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a tangible and visible form. It is unlike any other thing known to us; in our structured world of right and wrong, art stands aside. There is no right or wrong in art, no good or bad. It is solely an extention of ourselves, and that, in itself, is beautiful.
