hey, my name is nicole, i'm 20 years old and a very proud south aussie!

i've been writting poetry for about 4 yrs. i started writting as a way to express myself and get my feelings, anger and emotions out in 'healthy' ways. most of them are fairly dark and depressing coz i usually only write when im feeling trapped by my emotions. and as i say to people who complain... theres more ways and words to describe someone whos pissed off with the world, angry or dying inside compared to someone whos happy. its not my fault its just the way it is!
so if you dont like em feel free to simply not read them. but if you do and you like what you read (or can see how i can improve) please leave me a little comment, it would be appreciated. most of the time i will return the favour! =D

i mostly write about my life and the new and not so interesting things that happen to me. i havn't been able to pen anything in quite a long time. the words dont come to me as easy anymore. hopefully i can reopen the poetry side of my brain and get the words flowing.

No 1 has to be my adorable and amazing baby sister, Jo. She means the world to me and i wouldnt be who i am without her. She gives me the strength to do anything and reach for my dreams. She is so compasionate and caring except when it comes to herself, she deserves the world and i hope that one day she will finally realise this. i love her with my heart and soul, i would die for this girl.

No. 2 is my amazing boyfriend, greatest companion, and the love of my life, Brenton. He has got me through so much and given me wings to fly. He is always there when i need someone to talk to or just a shoulder to cry on. He has helped build me up from so little and shown me the strength i can possess. When the world is crashing down he can hold me in a way which makes the world disapear and his smile can brighten the darkest day. Brenton is my past present and future. i would go to hell and back for him.

No 3 is my greatest mate Russ. he can always make me smile and is always there when im feeling down or just need someone to listen. he gives awesome hugs and can actually wipe away tears without smudging make up!! i love this boy he is one of my shining stars.

All my other friends who i love and adore... Karen, Lisa, Jenni, Tess, Kezza, Gabz and of course the gang of boys!

my mum is my idol! she has such an amazing strength, compassion and love. she pushes me to be the best i can and i know i can only reach these heights because she will always have my back and i hers. she has always been there when i needed her and i wouldnt be who i am today without her. I LOVE HER!!
