Haunted PagesShow poetry

I love writing about almost anything but tend to lean toward the darker side of things. I'm fond of irony and being surprised. When it comes to poetry, Poe, in my mind, will always be the yardstick.

For the many here who have posed the question—yes, I have dismantled my Web site. Sorry. It’s just that I was putting far more into it than it gave in returns, and it was eating up too much of my time, becoming something of a distraction from getting any real work done. For those of you who still wish to keep up with my fiction, feel free to e-mail me (mwlyles@cox.net), and I’ll let you know where you can read my new stuff as it becomes available.

While you’re here, be sure to stop by my daughter’s poetry page; she writes here under the name iwuvsebo, and, truth told, even at eleven she’s a far better poet than I. Just copy and paste this link in your browser: http://allpoetry.com/poets/iwuvsebo

Enjoy.

Hey dad! Keep writing more poems! Reading your poems is like watching a Stephen King movie (while at your house I seem to find myself doing quite often); scary, well written, and sometimes with a little humor. Keep amazing me dad!

    Hi, all.

Yes, it has been a while since I've checked in here. Nice to know I've been missed. Didn't intend to neglect anyone ... I've just been wrapped up in other things. I'm going to be posting some new stuff in the next few days. Meanwhile, I'm off to see what's new from my favorite poets here.

    Cheers,

    Mike

Yeah, Michael, where have you been?
    Hope you come back soon.
We could all do with some more creepy horror poetry
The nearest I ever got tp writing like you is my Halloween poem last year, 'Demons In The Dark', which is a far cry from from your work. I love reading yours.

    Come back??!!

    Dee
