I fold origami cranes and origami hearts and hang them in front of my window. I talk to my shadow when I am lonely.

I write poetry as a hobby, and nothing more. I realize it may not be too great, but I'm sure it's not piles of dreck, either. So bash away if you want, but please be courteous and polite about it. I despise discourtesy above all else. In other words, "I have a very fragile ego, don't squish it like a bug." =)


Recently, I've become intrigued by the idea of God in nature--not of God prayed to in churches, but one who hides Himself in the symmetry of biology and leaves it up to us to dig Him out. The proportions of spirals on a shell, the patterns of constellations in the sky, the uniqueness of every snowflake, the way you can read the past in the rings of a tree. That is the kind of God I believe in.
