GunjShow poetry

A million thanks to my brother of making up my name...As you all know by now- Gunjan...
Gunjan Sharma.

A writer at AP one said, "I will think that I am at height of poetic skills, just if I could describe your beauty in 30 words..."

Gunjan: As an Artist

Basically I am more of an artist than a poet. I began drawing at comparatively a very early age. Probably I had more interest in holding and playing with art brushes than I had with pens
Anyways as I grew up, my school teachers recognised my talent, I had began to fix a place in the eyes of my drawing teachers. This eventually turned me out to appear in various art and craft competitions and also come back with prizes.

Here are some works of my art...Enjoy:

Mural Painting

A mural is a painting on a wall, ceiling, or other large permanent surface. Murals today are painted in a variety of ways, using oil or water based media. You can Google Mural paintings if you want to know more... or we can discuss it whenever I find time. Although love chit bit, but I find myself a little busy these days...LOL Anyways, the art you were waiting for

Religious Paintings

Hanumanji... An extremely adorable figure in Hindu religion.

With the dust of Guru's Lotus feet, I clean the mirror of my mind and then narrate the sacred glory of Sri Ram Chandra, The Supreme among the Raghu dynasty. The giver of the four attainments of life...
You can find more at: Hanumanji

The art below is inspired by an Indian movie on Shri Hanuman's childhood...God Bless You.

Of course, I have done more paintings, just uploaded a couple of them. If you are interested in having a look, feel free to IM me

Something I feel for the paintings
As I have mentioned before, I am more of an Artist than a poet. Just as poetry is to any one of you, art is to me.
I have a feeling, somewhere in my heart, I may or may not have someone with me. Maybe at any instant or circumstance of my life, but it is of a great satisfaction to know that I will always have my paintings by my side. It at times make me feel as if this is my identity.
Usually when I am painting and my friends call me up, I don't tell them what I am doing, simply say that I am doing something very important...and they know it- I am painting.

Why is painting so special to me?
The most beautiful part of painting is the time, the concern and care it demands, and I give. When I am painting, at one hand there is a rejoice of filling colors on a blank sheet, on another, I have to be careful about the edges, about the details, about their colors. It for quite an appreciable amount of time, takes everything away from me. Leaving me alone, but n peace and satisfaction, I am thoughtless at those moments, but I am most creative at that time...and somewhere feeling beautiful inside myself...
It is my way of narration, my expressions. It is something to make me feel light, a friend whom I may not be able to chat with... but a friend whom I can show everything I have...My paintings!

Gunjan: As a Shooter

Yea Yea... I know...
"Oh! You shoot?"
"You must be kidding right?"
"Are you serious?"
"Oh! I thought...hmm...well..."

Yes I know its seems very contradicting when an Artist finally holds a revolver or a rifle in their hands... I just love to tell this to people, and then see their reaction.
At first they will think as if I am kidding, then they will watch me turn serious, and I love to see the way they react...LOL

Shooting came as a passion to me, as most of girls would enjoy some light sport or boys would enjoy cricket, football and all, I enjoy shooting. Although not computer games.
It feels great when you target things, with that bullet. When you finally master something that can take lives. And this is an odd sport, at least at my side of the world. First people look down at me, then at my sweet innocent face and then hear what I say...just love the look they turn into.
I have won several rewards for the skills, well below is the very first image and very first poem that anyone in this world dedicated to me...Well...we'll talk about the creator a bit later...

Please leave a word, if you feel like...on how do you find this? And yes, the girl in the image is not me...so don't misunderstand

These are the poems dedicated to me...At the lower right end I have mentioned the name of the poet (AP name)...
