Hello to All,
I have returned to AP after a long absence. Life has a way of taking over at times and changing the flow of the stream. I am very pleased to be writing again and being here is evidence that the stream has shifted again...in a positive direction.
As I look around a familiar and favorite place, I have seen some wonderful changes to AP. I fully intend to make wise use out of the free writing classes, so teachers expect to find me sitting front and center. (Thank you for adding this wonderful feature!). I feel anything I do to help develop my writing skills is as beneficial to me as cool drink of water on a hot summer day.
I welcome any constructive criticism and will consider all advice in making my writing what it should be and not what it is. We are all here for many reasons but I feel the bottom line is we are all here to become better writers and possibly to be recognized by our peers for our efforts. I will give back as much as I expect, after all that is only fair.
Oh Yes, about me; I am 49. I am a wife, a mother of 3 grown kids, and a grandmother of 6 grandchildren ages 14-4yr. I hope I am a blessing to those around me, I would much rather nurture someone and watch them grow than be a hindrance in their growth.
I love writing poetry and have several poems on here. For the most part they reflect my feelings and positive outlook on life. I have written several children's stories, a couple of short stories, a little erotica, and I am currently working on a suspense/romance novel that is taking me forever to write.
I hope to make some new friends as well as be a friend, so dont be afraid to drop in and say hi.
