GrimlathakShow poetry

I dont really consider myself to be an actual poet. I have no literary degree or any real education on poetry at all. Im just a high school drop out with a pen, keyboard, and an overactive imagination which fills my head full of mostly romantic daydreams.

As for my work, most of my focus revolves around tapping into the emotion and getting the point across. I am usually dependant on the whims of my muse to write anything at all. Sometimes she gently taps me on the shoulder and softly whispers, yet other times she seems to practically ravish me like some trashy romance novel. Most of the time however she says nothing at all so i tend to write off and on in spurts.

In any case however I like to write from the heart. I profoundly feel that that is where all true art begins. Be it visual or audible it's a labor of love.

labor of love
work done for the sake of one's own enjoyment or of benefit to others rather than for material rewards: He coached amateur baseball teams as a labor of love.

"cute as two little kittens fighting over a ball of yarn in the sunlit window of a warm spring day." no translation was needed Now I am even more glad that I stopped to share my "quirkiness" and as for smiles...no need to fear... I always have a few extras laying around to share ~peace~ Michelle Fey
