I have been writing for about 3 years now. I guess you could call it poetry. To me it was just something I needed to say, it just rises up out of me from some unknown place. I just let it flow. Some phrase will appear and BAM there it comes. Next thing I know I find myself finished. One line leads to another, one verse plays off the other. Some times I carry a theme others not. Oh well, just hope that some people will enjoy them.

I have widely varied musical tastes. I am a classic rock fan. Yet I listen to everything from classical to metal and everything in between.
Alternative, pop, r&b, jazz, blues, country, I like some of all but not all of some. Not a big fan of hip hop and rap, except the ones that don't sample to death everyone elses work.

I enjoy sports, basketball and football the most. Played golf, billiards, darts, tennis, raquetball just about anything that would get me out of the house. Now I am just an observer and avid gamer.

Mouser Wings

"There is an angel who sits by my side,
in the dark where the broken angels hide.
He comes to me in the most glorious light,
listens and comforts me long into the night.

He seeks nothing from me, other than a smile,
he makes me laugh and I forget for just a while.
He spreads his wings,takes me within his embrace,
for in the night I shed my tears and fall from grace.

He doesn't frown upon the angel with the broken wing,
he only tries to mend her and solace he tries to bring.
For he knows this broken angel keeps so much deep inside,
Yet with him there are no secrets, it is he she does confide.

He knows of her sadness, her laughter and her pain,
reminds her that all she has encountered is not in vain.
Boosts her ego and gives her the strength to take flight,
for he is the angel in the dark who gives her back the light."
