Greenwolfe 1962Show poetry

I was away for awhile but now I have returned . I have been
writing poetry since 1970 . In 2005 I received the special "gift"
of being able to write Rhythm and Rhyme poetry . Since then ,
I have written more than 150 poems . I consider myself to be
very blessed and am grateful to have written my particular style
of Rhythm and Rhyme poetry .
I live in the mountains and hills of West Virginia . A state in
the Unites States . I was born there on Good Friday , March the
23rd 1951 .
I believe that poetry should contain Love , Truth , and Beauty . I also believe it is one of the oldest forms of human communication .
I write in the older classic style of poetry . Modern poetry holds
no charms for me . My purpose in writing poetry is to inform and
to entertain the readers with poetry they can relate to and enjoy .
I hope that you will find at least one of my poems to be a source
of pleasure or value to you in your life .
