Just in case none of you have figured it out yet...my Poetry reflects the feelings inside of me that I've struggled with all my life..and continue to do so...they also reflect my struggle as a christian...and my ups and downs in my faith...you should be able to see for urself once you read them...
Scriptural Reference for the meaning behind the band name...SORROW...
2 CORINTHIANS 7:9-11
9 yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 11 See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
I would like everyone 2 know that this was founded by my friend Dane Pugh..who passed away...due 2 interal bleeding from a car wreck...he was a passenger...and the driver fell asleep...and he died from bleeding internally...why? cuz he was waiting on the stupid Hospital in winder 2 accept him as a patient...this band plays not only for the Love that God has bestowed in our lives...but in loving memory of him...who would've been our record producer...had he lived 2 see what Sorrow has yet 2 become...
Please...I ask of all those who visit this site...please read all my poetry..for they are potential lyrics for my band Sorrow... a Christian band that will be the most heaviest and fastest band on the face of this planet...The one thing about my poems is that although most of them have chorus lines...they are weak...and I really don't care for a lot of them...so I would really appreciate n/e feedback from all those who read it...especially if you would reword something different...or change any of what I have written...or even if you can think of a better chorus line...that I could try for...whatever the case may be...I really appreciate it....and I would also like for you all to check out my Bassist David Vickery on this site...Shadow-flame...he was the one that wanted me to post my poems and stuff on here...and he has his own...they are WICKED AWESOME! N/e of you that check out mine should check out his as well...cuz they are really good!
