Hello everyone, my name is Cory.

I live and breathe poetry. I'm always lost in my own fantasies and thoughts, and poetry is a huge part of that. Indeed, many would claim that I'm far too inside my own head, and with just reasons to. I'm very shy, anti-social, and semi-misanthropic.

Some of my inspirations for writing poetry are music, other poems, nature, and philosophy. I tend to mostly favor form in poetry, but other times my poems are structureless. I always feel this gap between what I intend to say with my poetry and what it comes out as to others, and I've come to understand that this is a necessary divide. Though I may come off as such, I am not nearly as negative as it sounds like I am in some of my poems, it's just that in my poetry I like to assume various points of view.

My beliefs tend to change frequently, as my understanding and outlook on the world are always altering. I try to learn as much as I can, I see things from as many different points of view as I can, and I believe strongly in moral relativism. I cannot stand radicalism/fundamentalism in beliefs, having always been skeptical and perceptive. I'm also very anti-war.

As far as my view of humanity, well lets just say that it's morose and we'll leave it at that.
