The past 4 years I have become more of a singer/songwriter. Although poetry helped me through some of the hardest years of my life, I haven't really written any for a decent amount of time. It is interesting to go back and look at what I wrote so many years ago. The pain, the love, the immaturity- yet also the wisdom all shines through.
Thank you for reading my poetry and realizing that each piece is part of me, good or not. I just thank the Lord that I am in no way the girl I once was, struggling to stay alive. Now I have grown and am so fond of life and where I am headed.
I am a theatre major looking to become a stage director or maybe a movie director (maybe). I adore people and the way they process information and life. I love puting the pieces together. I love helping.
Grace
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." Proverbs 31:25
"Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise is the assembly of the saints." Psalm 149:1
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1
"For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock." Psalm 27:5
-*Poem wrote by my friend Onfire4Jesus*-
Grace my wonderful friend the pig.
I was thinking about you the other day
When I had a word of encouragement to say
I got on here and decided to type
And I discovered all the things about you that I like
I like how you smile a lot and send me messages to
I like the monkey faces you make, for they look just like you
I like the fact that you like Dr.pepper, the best drink
I love the way you like to rollerblade, it makes you think
But most of all my friend, what I admire in you
Is your desire to serve the Lord, all the ages through
Keep that fire, and never ever lose hope
For God will give you the strength to cope
Now another thing to remember, I just have to say
That if you decide to fart at church, just remember to say
Don't be worried or dismayed,
For this is holy gas that is peeking out from me today.
You can plug your nose if that is what you choose to do
But just remember that the smell, will follow you too...

Daughter so dear on AP
Excellent writer of poetry
Always has a beautiful smile
Really so sweet and has style
Greets me everyday on aim
Really glad into my life she came
A barrel of laughs is she
Cute and adorable as can be
I am proud she is part of thee
