The Soldier

May your memory live on
in the hearts of the ones you loved
and in the eyes of the people
may your song always be sung
the sacrifice you have made
to save a thousand lives or more
is so much more than any of us
would ever be willing to chance

The soldier who stands up for all
flies high above the crowd
protecting our simple lives
may we remember that somehow
as our days pass by without threat
think always what he has done
for you have been blessed
by the soldier who has moved on

Heavens Kiss

Hands of sweet guiding, we’re wrapped in His hands.
Earth Angels guide forth, bringing loves gift to earth.
Almighty powers sift through the hands of the Almighty.
Vibrant colors of Heaven are alive and vibrant
Entertaining hearts and soul, thoughts become entertaining.
Never give into the dark, as evil loves one never.
Shield yourself with the Word, the Book your shield.

Keep in the path of righteousness, in His image we shall keep.
Indeed we all are His blessed sheep; I am His indeed.
Save yourself from you, only you can make the save.
Sweet is our life if we make it, sour makes us pucker, go sweet!

Hooked...

Sitting in the depths of the emergency room,
that scarlet liquid pulsating,
Dribbling down the pale papery material; my skin,
Watching my father as he panics about what Mom will say,
Knowing it was all my fault, I should have looked,
All I wanted to do was look at the fish Dad caught,
I saw it, it was funny, all scaly and slimey,
I stepped back and I didn't see the rag...
That deadly hook, gripped hold and pulled at my skin,
The searing pain rushing through my body,
I screamed... Dad began to panick,
Now, sitting in the depths of the emergency room,
With scarlet liquid pulsating,
Dribbling down the pale papery material; my skin.

This poem above was written for me by my friend
Anguas-Confusion.
The main experience I want to write about is when I was 8.
We were fishing and I wanted to look at a fish that my dad caught. As soon as I looked at it, I stepped on a rag that had a hook on it, the hook got caught on my leg. My dad had to take me to the emergency room to get it out.
