Goals by time i'm twenty-
To have the ability......
to sight read a tune never played before on the bandstand.
to count in a tune, with ideas for intro and outro.
to comp for other instruments, staying out of the way of keys, but offering harmonic information to the soloist to play off of.
to solo over any tune in most tempos.
to play solo, duo, trio and in larger band settings, adjusting as role changes.
to communicate quickly and clearly to others on the bandstand.
to play at most tempos, and any time sig.



There are a few poets from this site that I have met that I would really like to mention.
No particular order


"TheFourSeasons"

This guy is among the most talented writers I have ever met on AP it seems he is always writing something new and improving his style. You can find almost any type of poem just scanning the titles of his poetry.

"Duchess Dizufish"

Probably one of my favorite poets by far, she really knows how to use her imagination to make something creative and beautiful. Just go look for yourself.

"Puking Faerie Dust"

One of those poets with the excellent vocabulary and excellent at free verse.
I tend to have to get the dictionary when I read her work but she writes some very beautiful things. Her metaphors really touch down and add a bit of fantasy/fairy tale type feeling to her poetry.


"DonSullivan"

One of those people that should definitely write more.
I think this gal has a lot of talent up her sleeves I really wish she would write more, her style is very unique and she has a great imagination.

"Seven"

This is another outstanding poet that I have met. Guys always got something interesting to write about and he keeps his style very unique, we need more poets like him.

"Yesterdaysdreams"

This is another female poet that I really enjoy. She tends to write about a lot of deeper and meaningful stuff. Shes got a good head on her shoulders. Shes got a great bit of something mystic in her poetry that I can't exactly put my finger on. Just look up her name and look for yourself.

"Mightyafrowhitey"

Even though this guy was banned I would like to mention him because he influenced my style of writing more then anybody else. I wish his work was still on here but uh yeah...


"Bornwithapen"

Excellent lyricist and musician. The only sad thing about reading lyrics is you can't hear the music but he is an excellent writer and I highly recommend anybody reading his work.
