I tend to symbolize a lot in my poetry style. I write my own personal experiences, and then sort of transcend it into a different meaning, a different image--really, how I see it. I still believe that language limits us here because we, ourselves, are so inexpressable in words as a whole. But I hope that you can come here and take something away from here meaningful for you. That's what we really want. ^_^;;;
I'm working on imagery and freeverse and getting better with poetry overall; I don't feel like I'm getting very far, but I'm getting somewhere. My friend Chris joined on this site recently (AP Name: Stonecosta) and I think he'll inspire me to push myself furthur in the poetry domain.
