I am a Sagitarian in my 50's living in Perth, Western Australia. I started my career by studying Industrial Design and Education. Spent the next 11 years teaching Design and Technology. Went through a career change in my mid thirties and became a vegetable farmer, there has always been a close connection to the land in my family, which lasted for 16 years. I am now semi retired, studying complementary therapies and love to travel.
I was never interested in poetry when I was at school. A few years ago I met someone who wrote poetry as a means of resolving issues he had with his divorce. In 2003 I was experiencing some serious relationship issues and decided to have a go at writing poetry as a means of purging my thoughts. I felt so much relief that I have been writing ever since. My poetry is as it comes with an emphasis on Nature and the lessons we can learn from it. My philosophy is:
To write words profound
is my desire.
In few words, change a thought,
shift a perception.
In few words, eloquently used,
change a life.
