Welcome, to my page. Gah, not really!
Quotes:
What is instantaneously true for the infinitisimal is eternally true for the infinite.
-DB
(not David Beckham) One of my friends said this. It's actually quite nonsensical, he's that kind of a guy!!
A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.
-Mark Twain
For eg:- I can be quite rude and I am very honest about it. I mean my eidolon would be someone like Dr Gregory House from the Tv series "House", so you know what I mean.
And inspite of all my shortcommings I am my best-friend. I think a person who is self-assured and confident, decides his/her own fate.
As for my rudeness leading to unpalatable and uncomfortable situations; since joining AP I haven't spoken in depth with anyone for such a situation to arise and I really doubt it will, cause I am on a 'being kind but firm nonetheless' spree!
Anyway, I am quite comfortable in my own skin and I hope so is everyone else!
You deprive me of solitude without affording me company.
-Madame de Sevigne
I truly believe this. I do not suffer fools gladly and knowing this generally, no one wastes my time. I prefer being alone as opposed to being with someone when it necessitates small talk, which is why I don't bother commenting on poems I don't like.
Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.
-Mark Twain
I am a foodie and have a high enough metabolic rate to burn up all that I eat!
Excerpts:
The Rubaiyat by Omar Khyamm:
" 'Tis all a Chequer-board of Nights and Days
Where Destiny with Men for Pieces plays:
Hither and thither moves, and mates, and slays,
And one by one back in the Closet lays."
The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost:
"Two roads diverged in the wood, and I
I took the one less travelled by"
These aren't my favourite poems but just some of the things I could relate to.
I don't really understand this AP Family stuff but each to their own. It does seem like an easier way to keep in touch with people though, I would rather become a favourite or just be plain friends with someone! LMAO And though I am just a very lazy person who hates talking about herself I have said a lot here, so I am going to stop now.
