Wow this is kind of strange! I grew up in Iowa, am 16, love Poe, and the Abhorsen trilogy!! You totally stole my identity, give it back! j/k

I moved from IA to Australia 3 years ago, and there is a very good author here who is very similar to Nix (a bit more complex, yet very enjoyable) Her name is Trudy Canavan, and I would recommend reading the Black Magician Trilogy. I hope you can get it there...
