~Smile when you want to, cry when you need to and laugh whenever possible.~
Anyone can write poetry. Poetry is just a string of words that either do or do not make sense.
-My poetry is my therapist; my journal, the person I'm really talking to when you see me talking to myself or the person I'm listening to when you can't 'snap me out of it'. I create the poetry at any given time...for any given reason. I use it to make sense out of love, hate and life in general...I use poetry when I'm holding my breath to let me breathe...I use poetry to keep my sanity as insane as possible in the worst or the best of situations.
Poetry is a natural part of my life- who I am, and who I want to become.

Vera Rich on November 7I see you livw in Wisconsin ... Does the Wisconsin Poetry Magazine still exist? I used to write for it in the 1960s, and won their "Sara Teasdale award" in - I think 1963.

FollowingFate : I LOVE your page on February 12, 2007Omg. I love the quotes on your page. Especially the one about failing is how you never get up. I totally agree. I also loved your comment on there that said when I'm not writing, I'm argueing with myself ... and how when you express yourself in writing, you always win (MOSTLY!) lol. It's great. Anyways...I'm going to view your poem WHAT IT TAKES; I'll be sure to comment. Thanks for inviting me to your poetry.
