.......
I am not actually French, but I have always felt a connection to the French language. I'm far from fluent, but I hope to be some day, and my dream is to visit Paris, and see the moon behind the Eiffel Tower.
Translated directly, my pen name means "Flower of the Moon", because I love the concept of a flower growing by the light of the Moon instead of the Sun. It is a prime example of being different, but still beautiful. That's also the reason I like Sonnet 130 so much (see below), because it expresses the concept of inner beauty, which I agree with wholeheartedly. I am not a stereotypically beautiful woman, but I have learned to feel beautiful in my skin, even with the unwanted pounds.
I have been writing poetry for years, but only recently have any of my writings been well written.

Sonnet 130
William Shakespeare
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red than her lips' red:
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damask'd, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound.
I grant I never saw a goddess go:
My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground.
And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare
As any she belied with false compare.
