Here is what I have learned, there is more to rain than just getting wet. There is more to talking than just sounds coming out of my throat. There is more to living than just trying to stay alive. There is more to happiness than just things. More to walking than just moving my feet. More above me than just outer space. More to see than what just hits the surface of my eye. This is what I believe. It is not meant to be chanted religiously, or start a national movement, it is meant to break through the windows, to prove that life is more than something I’m stuck in, but something to experience, to breath in. To live. I refuse to be a bystander
I'm don't really consider myself a poet, Its just something I end up doing a couple times a year. (If your lucky a couple times a month) Most of my poetry is depressing, I guarantee you I'm not, but that side of me just comes out.
