I'm a recovering purveyor of light doggerel, but I have begun to suspect that my predilection towards pointless humour is chronic and will never be overcome. I read more prose than poetry, but write more poetry than prose. That said, I am enamoured of A.E. Housman, so if I write something in metre centred around the theme of loss, you'll know where it's coming from. I don't think I've found my poetic voice, but stick around -- I'll find it.
I am highly appreciative of constructive criticism. While I do write for myself, I enjoy the epiphanies I get from the work of others and hope to attain a higher level of epiphany-inducement myself. So if you have any advice, please go right ahead. I don't bite, as it were.
