Hey y'all, I just wanna make a shout-out to my homeboys Vince Ferraro and Justin, and all of his associates with Challenge Day, He saved my life... "Be The Change"-Challenge Day 2006






Here is one of my favorite quotes:

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."


I took that to heart, because really, if you think about it, it all makes sense. If you treat someone with respect, it could make the difference of a good day and a shitty day!!!It is good to give that back to the community, so I have taken this quote to heart...

She was wrongly dismissed of her job, and the reason for it was she "didn't fit in..." This is Bullshit, and this expression means that you shouldn't sit like a coconut and just mind yourself, let people put you where they want you, you should put yourself in a position you want, and you should express your noise (opinions) like a blowhorn, and not just do nothing like a coconut. Ms. Ghali was such an AWESOME Teacher!!!
