I'm Jessica, an average 17-year-old girl from your average small town in Central California. A Senior in high school eagerly awaiting college, my sights are currently set on Occidental in Pasadena with a potential major of International Business or Political Science. An only child by birth, I currently have a new sister, a foriegn exchange student from Italy who has quite easily become family to me. It's great. I fit under the 'Good Girl' label if you insist on boxing me in, though I do have certain oddities like 6 piercings (2 in each ear, 1 cartilage, and a bellybutton ring) that allow me to break that mold, or atleast bend it a little. On my eighteenth birthday I plan to get my nose pierced as well as have the Chinese symbol for 'dream' tattooed on my lower back, to remind me to never give up on my dreams. I have a good understanding of French after having taken it for two years, and I'm currently learning Italian as well. I've been to England, France, Italy and Greece. I guess you could say that I write poetry to express feelings that I otherwise keep under lock and key, but my other emotional outlets are music and reading. My one goal in life is to continue chasing tomorrow, but to remember to live each day to the fullest as well.
