This is a poem 'bout me by one of my good friends, he's a awesome poet, d-w-r, go read his stuff.

In a world of sorrows and endless rain
Your heart still lives its life unfettered.
Though wracked all through with loss and angst
It refuses the worldful tether.
Through future dim and unseen hope
It rises forth and spreads anew,
Remaining constant in its oaths
And sweet as honeydew.

Through my own darkness it has shown
It’s pure and effervescent light,
To remake the man I once had been
And break the shackles bound long and tight
Perhaps it would have been my fate
To live of cold and disjointed life
But through a grace beyond my comprehension
Your presence has put an end to that strife.

And in return what did I do
But bite the hand from which I had fed,
And helped to cause the unwarranted wounds
Which you, from me, deducted.
And even so you have exonerated
This malicious heart from its past offenses,
And remain faithful to your undeserving friend,
Who you see without your senses.

Forever shall I be watchful for the time
When I may help you, my dear friend.
You were the first to show for me care,
And you were the first my heart did rend.
I end this poem with loving advice:
Learn from the past, which time will salve,
Live for the future with invisible hope,
And love in the present, as you always have.

Should I smile because we're friends, or cry because that's all we'll ever be?

Love is life and life is love, so take advice and don't screw up.

Any guy that makes you cry isn't really worth your time, but any guy that makes you smile isn't necessarily worth your time either.

The best advice you'll ever receive: Follow your heart and nothing else. Your heart knows what's best, nothing else.
