When life was all blue

Everyone has a friend

Everyone has a friend
that touches their lives in a way
that fills them with happiness godsend
whenever they need them, that friend is there on that day

After awhile they become like two peas in a pod
doing whatever they can to help and be there
whether its helping  untangle there friend's fishing rod
or helping them run away by distracting a bear

They have many good days with this special friend
whether it is a grandma, a dad, or a sis
they all help you by the help they lend
being with them no matter when it is, is always bliss

talking on the phone
playing in the pool
they never leave you alone
overall, that special someone just rules

but whenever something happens to that special friend
like death or a car crash
your world crumbles down and you feel this is the end
of your very special friend and you think please don't make this pain last
