I have a 19-year-old daughter, Ashley. She has been out of the house now for a year. I have empty nest syndrome at age 40! Ho hum...

And, this is Ashley and her boyfriend Terry, who also happens to work for us. Awwwwww… young love!




And, a 14-year-old (almost 15 now!) stepdaughter, Mackenzie. She is only with us now every other weekend, used to see her almost every day. Another reason I have empty nest syndrome. What's a girl to do?

Me, I now have 14 bunny rabbits (not in cages, but in fenced in areas in an insulated building with cement floors, where they all have companions and a little room to roam, and two in the house with us, a turkey named Tom (I know, original), a hen named Hazel, both Tom and Hazel like to hang out with us outside, following us around… haha! Not to mention all the wild animals, the trout, the blue herron(s), the ducks, the birdies, the squirrels, the chipmunks, the worms (which I feed to the chickens... poor wormies), the frogs, the bees, the bugs… etc, etc!

Below: Simba. King of the Jungle. He lives in the "bunny building" and lives with his mom, sister, daughter/half-sister, and three sons/half-brothers (one of them being Skippy - see above). It's a terrible thing how the bunnies have sex with their moms - it messes up the family tree and makes it all twisted!
