My poetry is very dark at times. Other times I try to add a light side to it or add some of my own Bizarre humor. I am from St. Louis I just got back from Iraq. My favorites below are just the first things that came to mind. I have too many to list. If I could lock myself in the Vatican library I would and then move on to another Archive.
The music I listen to is very diverse. I like punk, rock, psychobilly... etc. But I also like Country classics like Cash and good ole' Willie. A few of my favorite bands are Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, The Used, and Social Distortion. Right now my very favorite band has to be Street Dogs... Their song Back To the World has to my favorite... There are really too many to list here.
I like to watch movies, Especially those that have historical reference such as Mel Gibson's Braveheart, or the Passion of the Christ.
I learning freak... I look to just suck up knowledge about everything. A few of my favorite subjects are history (especiall ancient, medieval, and the Renaissance) I love art and religon, two subjects that go well together. I also like literature and psychology. If I could spend the rest of my life just learning all the magnificent wonders of the world, modern and anceint, I would.
My little sister (whom of which I am extremely proud of because she has been through Hell and back and made it through) is also a aspiring poet. Norea, check out her work as well, she is a talented girl.

Soldier, where have you gone?
Off to fight a war, -
Grab the body armor and lets go!
Another day at the office. -

cherche -d -ame on August 11, 2006Hello Katie
And welcome back from Iraq. I came upon your page because of the comment you left yesterday on my write. Reading about you here, now I understand your comment even more in depth (the chill and the words grabbing you, not wanting to let you go)For you have seen the fires of hell first-hand
Please know that I am completely anti-war, however every soldier that has gotten his/her orders and has been deployed has always and will always have my fullest support and my hearts wishes to come back safely to their loved ones. And thank you for risking your life-----simply because you were told you had to. That to me is a real hero,
