Hello! :-) I am Jess, I'm from England. I love writing poetry, yes, it's usually utter tripe but I still like to write about my emotions. The most important things in my life would be my partner, who has inspired a great many of my pieces, my three nieces, Poppie, Daisie and Moira, the rest of my family and of course my friends.
I have a rather sick sense of humour, so if you don't like that, please - don't get involved in casual conversations with me. Hehe, nah, don't worry, I only bring up that sort of humour with people of the same inclination.
My other passions include acting, drawing, and dancing.
I'm currently taking a child development course at college, along with a theatre studies course and an English lit. one as well
okay I'll stop babbling now and beg you to criticise my poetry so I can attempt to make it better. Hint hint.
I love reading other people's poetry also, so just drop me a line if you've got a new piece you wouldn't mind me reading, oh, and remember that all you need is love
Ta-rah for now x
Additionally, if you've never heard of a remarkably talented and rather beautiful lady called Auburn Sunrise, it's time you looked her up - she's like my sister on this website, and aside from being a wonderful person, her poetry overforfills anybody's expectations of art.
And here's a note from one of AllPoetry's most credited authors, who will always be a winner in my eyes:
"It is our great love for what we strive for....
poetry...
that has meshed our spirits....
It has the greatest power
to heal and to bring us altogether.....
We will stop writing to the past,
when it finally passes.
Kings will be laughing and talking in rhymes
poets are silent
turning to mimes
how the past passes so many times."
- Lowell Poe.
A grand person who opens windows and makes art from the glass. Be sure to look him up!

KNIGHT TIME -
Lowell Poe on April 14This is a writer that surpasses any ones expectation of poetry.
A mystical spirit from an ancient land.
So intrigued was I with her pen name,
that it drew me right into her poetry and her beautiful soul.
She gives her time to other writers, for her love for poetry runs so deep, it is all a stream of consciousness to her.
She will read your work with pure love of the art.
In turn she gives us herself.
Her words and her looking glass.
With that comes a journey into a life full of beautiful observations and hope.
I like to think of her as my English gypsy poet.
The only fear is that she will wonder away,
leaving me to only ponder what glorious lens she is looking at life through now.
I pray she never roams far.
but if she does..
and you see her on that cold highway....
ask to see her magic....
She will give it to you,
Because she is a poet.
