About The Hellcat
So, I've written a few poems, and I think I'm discovering how I write...even if I can't much describe it yet, nonsensical as saying that may be. Most, if not all, of my works contain a part of me, even if it's not much of me, or if you can't tell it. I also enjoy personification and the like, be it clouds talking to the masses or people who are described like a bunch of cows. I'm also working on The Ancient right now, and am hoping to make it an ongoing poetic story of sorts. I'm not entirely sure what it's about yet, he's just...taking a trip, right now. Further developments on The Ancient will be titled such before the name of the segment is given.
If you want to ask me to write something, go ahead. It may take me anywhere from a few days to maybe a couple of months to get around to it, though...at different times, dependent on my mood, I write in different ways, so don't be afraid to ask something weird. Well, okay, no erotica, and perhaps cut back on the violent poetry, I'm more symbolic than direct...usually. Again, my mood and the time define my poetry.
As to me myself, not my writing, I'm a pretty open-minded liberal type. For the most part, I don't deal in absolutes: if you attack one problem from two points of view, you can see both sides and realize that both happen to be right, just in different ways. Thus, the best course is finding the one that is the lesser evil or the greater good, and to work towards that goal. Of course, like all humans, like all races, in fact, I do have my own personal convictions, and will stick to them as stubbornly as weeds to the lawn. I was told something recently: While I approach MOST things from every possible angle, I foolishly don't do this in the more important aspects of my own life. I am a supporter of most wars...even if I'll never join them, and hate most guns myself. Gimme a good blade and I can't go wrong. Anywho, leave me a message, drop me a comment, just let me know what you think, I'll be sure to return the favor!
20070902: Okay, I feel pretty odd now. I just reread my stuff you just read up there, and think it pretty damn funny that I said I'd never join a war, as I'm now a member (albeit just a recruit, for now) in the United States Marine Corps (Semper Fi! OO-RAH!...U-RA?...how the devil IS that spelled, anyways?)
2007805: Mmkay, so maybe not so much with the Marines path, my mentor/ex-SEAL basically told me that I'm better than that, and then gave me several damn good reasons not to join. That, and death cards in reference to the path one is currently on are pretty much no bueno.
Eternally,
~Hellcat
