My goal, with poetry, is to express my own feeling and emotions, or the emotions I wanted to capture, as best I can. I guess I do a pretty good job of it, as people still tell me my poems are good.
Through Creative Writing 1 at my school, I found out I naturally have a pretty consistent rhythm, which is good. It means, at least I hope it does, that the flow of my poems is pretty good.
I also try to make my poems to where people can easily relate, even if it's a more abstract piece.
I've been moving older poems of mine over, and so far they've recieved positive responses.
Finally, for poetry, I rarely ever pick what I'm going to write about. Almost all of my poems start as a spark in my head, and I usually don't figure out what I was writing about until it's done. Also, I never force poems, as I know, from experience, it ruins them. If I ever find my first few poems, then I'll have perfect examples of this. Even when I do pick what I'm writing about, it almost never moves in the direction I planned, or it ends up sounding different than I thought it would.

Well, as for me, I'm fairly laid back, and easy to get along with. (Unless you're a jackass towards me, then I'll either ignore you or treat you the same!) I don't actively seek friendship, as I'm happy with the friends I have. I tend to be shy until I get to know you better, anyways.
