I've been writing a book, and am looking to get it published as soon as I can figure out how to do so. Call me optimistic. I enjoy nothing more than reading, writing, and making things.
I love my cat, he's the only one who listens to me, knows when I'm upset, and knows when I want someone gone. He's scared a few people away for me. I don't hold much in the way of personal, close friends. I think it's overrated, because no matter what the person that you trust the most will also be the one there most quickly to stab you in the back. Perhaps a tad bit melodramatic, but I'm speaking from personal experience.
I've had my fair share of health problems, though I'd rather not get into them. Usually I will write poems often, for a few months, then stop for awhile. Mostly it's because I don't have time, or don't have the time to retype them here, because most things I write are hand-written.
I get a lot of my inspirations from the people around me. That being said, most of my poetry is not a compliment. Don't be offended if you see something and think it's about you, it's just brutal honesty, and I don't think that I should have to change anything that I write just because you might read it. Call me cold, but honest with myself is more important than keeping most of you as friends, though I highly doubt you'll ever read anything that I write.
I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, and enjoy doing a multitude of differing things. Most oft though, I've got a pen, pencil, paintbrush, chalk, or something of the like in my hand, and that's what I prefer. Being creative allows one to see oneself more clearly than before.

I kept you at arms length, yet you came charging after me Running from you just hurt us both, and letting you in could destroy me

Well, it's complicated, but let's just say that my ex-fiance and I are best friends. And we are. He's about the only person on the planet I talk to, next to two others. I spent all day with him today, and all night with him on the phone last night. It's weird. He lives right down the street from me, but I don't like
