While I work at sonnets and villanelles, I fear I'm more Seuss or Silverstein than Shakespeare.
It's time for a return to meter and rhyme. Poetry was thoroughly deconstructed by the end of the 20th century. I want to try putting it back together again.

YES! Someone else who thinks this! I'm still an amateur, and thus I am far from useful in "saving" poetry, but perhaps someday, rhyme, metre, and the old styles will flourish again.
