"Feelings are not supposed to be logical.
Dangerous is the man who has rationalized his emotions."
-David Borenstein, January 28, 2000
"A man who won't die for something is not fit to live."
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
"We call that person who has lost his father, an orphan;
and a widower that man who has lost his wife. But that man
who has known the immense unhappiness of losing a friend,
by what name do we call him? Here every language is silent
and holds its peace in impotence."
-Joseph Roux

As far as my poetry is concerned, it's always changing. I think that
much will be easy to see once I slap more stuff up. I think I can safely
say that all of the years I RPed shaped how I write. I like testing new
styles and new topics. I also like playing with character thoughts
within writing and poetry. I know there are a lot of authors that use
styles similiar to this, but hopefully this is something I can cultivate
in the future.
As a side note: I'm hardly online except to check my e-mail, so if there
is something someone would like to say, send, whatever, my address is:
mlpetit1@yahoo.com. That said, on with the work.

My Poetry
-
we must resemble something like a wounded bird---
wings flapping helplessly behind us, -
Nothing but the gentle hum of electricity--
my breathing. -
and all you can think about is the end
it suddenly doesn't matter whether or not you get away
