Time has taught me that I have a hard time talking about myself. I look in the mirror and I see nothing extraordinary about the face that stares back. I merely am.... mortal, flawed, a work-in-progress. There's nothing eye-catching about me. I do not stand out in a crowd. In fact, I blend into the mob, just another face in the masses. My identity as an individual rarely shines through in those rare instances where you find me WITHOUT my notebook and ballpoint pens. {{Yes, I do carry them with me to just about every destination that I have. They keep me sane.}} Writing is, in large part, my essence.

Point of information: I fell in love with writing when I was seven-years-old. It was a friend {Sarah Pardon} who first nurtured the intrest that blossomed into my first epic romance.

Anyways, I started out with these goofy short narratives (in elementary school)that NEVER got finished and I liked the fact that they had no ending. Then I went through a brief lyrical spell (approx. 5th grade)where I wrote somber little songs about the evils of society. Poetry didn't quite come along until middle school. Those were three tough years that nearly broke me, but they somehow opened a poetic spring that still flows within me today.

- I enjoy thought provoking statements/conversations.
- Arguement is quite stimulating.
- Honesty is a must have in my world.
- I think that vampires are romantic.
- There are 5 things that I deeply dislike: Human suffering, hatred {{People are not the enemy; hate is the enemy}}, betrayal, heartbreak, && apathy.
- Love letters, garage bands, && eskimo kisses make me smile.
- Shakespeare, Poe, && Yeats are some of my favorite poets. {{Actually, I prefer Shakesepare's plays over his sonnets...}}
- I often say that my greatest flaw is emotion.
- I like the way laundry detergent smells. {{That's right: LAUNDRY DETERGENT!}}
- I support civil union.
- I'm scared of the dark, but it thrills me.
- Writing is my anti-drug && my homicidal tendency prevention.
- I want to know what it feels like to get shot...

I'm just another teenage girl, lost in a sea of faces.
