I am an 18 year old girl from the sunny coast of Queensland in north east Australia.
Recently, I spent six months in Arizona on a student exchange.
I started writing when i was 13, when i wrote a poem about a scooter accident that ended up with a trip to the emergency room, it was originally written for an english assignment but when my friends saw it they encouraged me to keep writing, which i did for a while. About a year ago a few things happened in my life and i stopped writing completly, but, with the encouragment of a great friend of mine, i have started again, and i hope to get better with every poem i write ^_^
I moved out of home at the age of 15. That was really tough. I recently moved back in with my mother and sister after living away from home for years. Its extremely hard to get use to. I dont get a lot of time to write because even though I live at home I have a pretty independant lifestyle. A lot of what I write never makes it to this page because i have a horrible habbit of losing my journals.
Most of my poetry is about life, Either life itself or personal life experiances or, flaws i find in the whole structure of life. Some of my stuff is dark, though i dont normally post that (Last time i did my school counsellor found my page and was not impressed)
Apart from writing, my number one hobby is photography. I was the magazine comitee at my school before I graduated and really loveed it.
Hopefully, ill have more to post soon.

Justplainwaynethen on July 6, 2008Hey, that's a great theme, "flaws in the structure of life"... I hope that they don't overwhelm you...!

Kastor : You don't have to answer if I'm asking too much. on June 15, 2008How do you live on your own? Where I'm from there arent many good places that will rent to someone under 18. Usually minors end up living an extremely difficult life or worse when they leave home, so most that do have done it as a last effort.

Kastor : you write above your age on June 12, 2008I am adding you to my favorites because I believe you are talented.
