Hey Friends,
It certainly has been awhile since any major update occured with me at Allpoetry. A lot has been going on in my life, so I ask for your forgiveness. Wow..I've gotten my own band started, I have also been in a live musical production of "Pirates of Penzance," and perhaps even sparked summer romance. Still, my days are filled with playing bass and playing videogames with my best friends. Oh, how I love long, summer days. Here's to being a junior next year. As always, enjoy my poetry (the rareness that I post it), and I'm open up for conversation at anytime you can catch me. Peace and love be with you, My Friends.

So about me?? My name is Jason Mines, I'm 16, and MUSIC IS LIFE! I pretty much dedicate all of my time to the band, or my job, in which I work for a local theatre performing in the orchestra for live musicals. I play electric bass primarily, but I'm also a guitarist and somewhat of a singer. I love performing--acting, reading poetry aloud, doings gigs..you name it. So who are some of my influences?? Well..
....METALLICA! I absolutely am obsessed with them. I also have a big place in my heart for System of a Down. Others include: Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Anthrax, Ozzy Osbourne, The Misfits, The Ramones, Mercyful Fate, Disturbed, Godsmack, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Motorhead, Foo Fighters, The Eagles, and SO MANY more.
Hmm..other than music..my life is pretty boring. I'm a junior in school..I hate it so much. My dream is to move out to San Francisco and start my own thrash metal band on the west bay area. If you want to know anything, man..just ask. I love getting to know new people!
