Hi! My name is Debi. I live in Southeast Texas and I have been a nurse for almost 15 years, and I love helping others. I rang in the New Year last year with a new interest in writing poetry, and I have enjoyed my experience here at AP very much so far! I look forward to growing with each poem I write, and with each critique that I receive. I appreciate the wonderful comments, and I hope to polish each piece with advice from my fellow poets.
I have been working a lot of hours lately, and I find myself not having much time to work on my poetry. I enjoy writing for the many contests on AP, but sometimes I just do not have the time to participate as I would like. I also host as many contests as my schedule will allow... but I do like to be able to give a contest my attention when I do host, so I may not be hosting quite as much until my schedule at work slows down a bit.
I will return any comments and strive to return the favor for everyone who comments on my work... This may take a bit of time when I am busy, but I will eventually get caught up. Thanks for being patient!
