DreamingAlone

I'm hoping to learn a lot from the site and the members.
The critiquing/commenting part is a little scary since
the only thing I know about poetry is, I love reading it
and from time to time try my hand at it. One thing for
sure, I know I will enjoy reading everyone's work.

You should not sell yourself short. You are very talented and God gives us each the talents he would have us to use to touch others. You are so talented and I know this. It is only you who needs to realize this. I am sure God will use your words to reach as many as you allow him. Your kind words on my work touched my heart deep. God showed me what a blessing you must be for so many as well as a talent with your own poetry. Your poems brought smiles and emotion to me as I am sure they have to others. Kim

Hey, this is kirbysman, confessing a blunder. You commented on my poem, A Loner, which I inadventently deleted (and the comment with it). I so enjoyed the comment I'd love it if you'd repost. Thanks.

I have been glad to come by and visit. It is refreshing to find a new poet on the site that like me is really quite new to poetry. I only got hooked big time since I found this site and only became comfortable in my life to begin writing after I turned 40. Some midlife crisis I guess.

Anyways, it has been pleasurable reading your works.
