zammy on July 23, 2008hello..thanks for commenting on my poem 'I Would Know'...it actually isnt my own experience - im only 19
- but i wrote this last year at a time when all i read in a newspaper or saw on the news was war. I hate what it does to people, and this came to me because i was reading stories of families whose young sons went to war and didnt come back. i may not have experience, or even know their sons, but i still feel their pain, and i express emotions i cant express otherwise in poetry. thank you for your comment, it means a lot to me
